Zap Oracle Network is LIVE on Binance Smart Chain Public Testnet

Zap Oracle Network has been launched on Binance Smart Chain Public Testnet! On the Binance Smart Chain Testnet, users can deposit testnet tokens and set up a Node Validator. The network and user interface will gradually be improved based on feedback from the community during this initial launch on testnet. Once smart contracts are fully audited, Zap will launch the mainnet oracles in this quarter with an array of oracle price and data feeds. There will be a series of guides and documentation released next week.

Zap Oracle Price Feed

Through Zap Oracle Price Feed, the latest price data is displayed from the network’s Node Validators. Based on a ranking system, the best-performing trading pairs are prioritized. Validator network users are able to request additional feeds. Oracles are available on the Binance Smart Chain Testnet at the moment.

Zap Mining Events

By providing an oracle system, miners will be able to give parties the value of an off-chain data point, and miner competing to add the value to an on-chain data bank, accessible by all DApps on Binance Smart Chain. A network of staked miners secures the data-bank’s inputs. In the Zap Protocol, mining operations are rewarded for submissions of honest data, and bad actors are punished by issuance of ZAP, Zap’s governance token, and a dispute mechanism.
